Pricing FAQ

Will I be charged when my free trial period expires?

No. We do not require your credit card information for the free trial period. If you select one of the paid plans, you will be charged in line with the selected plan after the trial period.

Can I use Time Analytics for free after the expiration of the trial?

Yes, you can use our platform’s free plan. The free plan is available for a limited number of team members, projects, and clients. When you start the free trial you will be signed up for the Optimum plan. If you want to continue to use Time Analytics for free you can downgrade Optimum to Free plan.

How to calculate a license cost?

Calculating the monthly or yearly license cost is simple. Multiply the number of active (enabled) users in your organization by the price per user/month that is stated in your chosen pricing plan. The cost will be calculated if you select one of the paid plans, even if you have under 5 active users. If you have 7 users, you will be automatically be subscribed to a paid plan so you pay a license for all 7 users.

How do you count users for billing?

You only pay for the users marked as enabled in your Team section. If someone leaves the company or you do not want to track their time just mark them as disabled. Once the user is disabled its position is not counted into billing. The data relating to the deactivated user will be retained.

What is the difference between paying monthly or annually?

You are offered both monthly and annual licenses. You can select a payment period that is more suitable for you. If you select an annual license you get a significant discount, and you receive only one invoice. In this case, you have to pay the subscription for the entire year. Monthly-based payment doesn’t offer discounts and requires invoice administration each month.

Do you offer discounts?

Time Analytics offers two kinds of pricing discounts. The first discount is quantity-based and a great solution for large teams. You can get a discount if your team has over 50 members. If you have over 150 users, you will have an additional discount. The second discount relates to paying a yearly license instead of a monthly plan.

Can I cancel my license at any time?

Yes. You just need to send a notice to our official email or just downgrade to the Free plan. If you are on a monthly license and cancel it, Time Analytics will stop charging you. If you are on an annual license and cancel it, Time Analytics will stop charging you after the annual license expires.

Do you have a refunds?

No. We offer a free plan and a free trial as well, so our users can examine the product before paying for it. When you purchase a monthly or an annual license there is no possibility for a refund.

How can I pay?

You can see the possible payment methods on this page. The usual payments are by credit card or through Pay pal. You can also pay through wire transfer, but this method is available only for the annual license.

What happens if I add or reduce the number of users?

If you are paying for a monthly license, your price will be immediately adjusted, considering the change (increase or decrease) in user numbers. You will be charged again for all users, but you will be refunded for user that are already paid. So your net monthly cost is calculated as:  number of active users X price per user/month.

If you are paying annually, and want to add new users you will be charged the extra amount according to the number of new users. You will be charged only for the months remaining until your initial yearly license expires. For example, you can use an annual license which costs $50 per user when paid annually. If your annual billing period started in January and you added a new member in June, the amount to pay for the new user will be $25.

If you are paying annually, and want to decrease the number of users a new billing will be applied after your previously paid annual license expires. In this case, costs will be reduced from the next subscription period.

What happens if I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

If you’re paying monthly, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. The price will be immediately adjusted according to the plan change.

If you are paying annually you can upgrade to a new plan at any moment and your costs will be adjusted.

For example, you are on the Starter plan which costs $400 for all users when paid annually. Let’s assume that the Optimum plan costs $600. If your annual billing period started in January and you upgrade to the Optimum plan in June, the amount to pay for the upgrade will be $100 (total annual costs are 500 = 400/2 + 600/2).

If you are paying annually you can downgrade to a new plan, but your costs will be reduced from the next subscription period after your annual subscription expires.

Can we switch from yearly to monthly payments or vice versa?

If you’re paying monthly, you can switch to annual payment at any time. In this case, you need to pay a license for the next 12 months (and get a discount for annual payment).

If you are paying annually, you can switch to the monthly plan only after your annual license expires.

What about taxes like VAT, withholding tax, etc.?

Our prices are exclusive of taxes and represent our net income. You are obliged to pay any type of tax considering your country’s tax legislation (e.g. withholding tax). In case you may be exempted from taxes considering double taxation treaties between countries, we can send the Time Analytics tax residency certificate by email request.

Can I export my data after my subscription ends?

Yes. All data entries can be exported through the timesheet model.
